PERCEPTIONS
Perceptions invites viewers to slow down and look again. Through still lifes and symbolic compositions, Alberto De Flavis explores how familiar objects and moments shift when seen through attention, memory, and emotion. This exhibition offers a quiet space to reflect on the subtle relationship between observation and meaning, where everyday scenes become intimate and open to interpretation.
The exhibition runs from December 6th until March 2nd at Ambassade Art Gallery, Oude Spiegelstraat 7, Amsterdam. Visitors are warmly invited to experience how perception shapes what we see—and what we feel.

Started to be in touch with the Art world since young age and have been cultivating the Love for Oil painting when moved to Amsterdam in 2017. Had the opportunity to be introduced to the world of Oil painting making a deeper connection with this magic medium. Mostly working on Still life , focus on contemporary realism and fascinate by the old masters. A self-taught painter with the intent to give a vision and self interpretation of how everyday simple subject can be made so beautiful, such as the way light can gently hit an object and emphasize what the viewer sees in the most magnificent way. Through the Oil painting craft he is able to express his truest thoughts, each decision and every brush strokes conveying his knowledge and emotion of that time , using a timeless medium to crystallize what only he can see.
